Black crow

I have not seen
a black crow
since I left.
Yet a black crow
has followed me
since the day it descended
from a steel sky
in the northern city
where I live.

Sitting
glaring
he speaks of solitude
amid rippled clouds.

A gust and, momentarily, he is gone.

                   (August 3, Götgatan)
