Parc de la Cite
She was being kissed
By a blunderer, the August night’s
Firmament poured its
Starry milk down on them the lawn
Was even warmer
Than their skin alongside
The hedge a spied voyeur
Fled she insisted on
Uncovering her breasts. Neither
Of them had ever
Had sex did they want
That mixture of fervour and
Waste it was in the fullness of
Youth that they left each other.
